This role is based in Temple, London.

Fleet Street Wealth is a Chartered, independent, fee-based wealth management firm focused on providing independent, well researched and bespoke advice to individuals, companies, trustees and charitable bodies. We now seek to recruit an experienced career administrator whose experience is largely from within an IFA office to become steady hand/constant within the department. This role will not offer progression into paraplanning or advising.

Please note that we are a London based firm that has the opportunity to also offer ‘work from home’. Currently we have not reopened the office properly due to Covid but as and when we do it will of course be in line with Government guidelines.

What you will do:

  • IFA Admin duties
  • Liaising directly with the Operations Director to feed back any relevant information or issues affecting the administration team as necessary
  • Being a point of contact for Advisers/Paraplanners for technical administrative queries
  • Mentoring of graduates within the admin team
  • Participate in team meetings, highlighting issues and owning actions through to resolution
  • Updating Avelo/Iress back office system
  • Assist with any fee reconciliation queries

What you will need:

  • A wide knowledge of the different admin roles and the varied industry products
  • A minimum of B in Maths and English at GCSE (or equivalent)
  • At least 1 years’ experience of working in Administration within a busy IFA Office
  • Excellent prioritisation skills to meet, if not exceed, deadlines
  • The ability to manage expectations of all staff and clients
  • A good working knowledge of Avelo Office (Iress) back office system is desirable but not necessary
  • A good working knowledge of online provider platforms
  • Ideally educated to graduate level and hold the FPC but not necessary

The offer:

  • Basic annual salary will be dependent on experience and location – up to £35,000
  • Normal working hours: 9am – 5.30pm (Friday finish at 5pm) with a 1-hour lunch break
  • Holiday allowance of 23 days, increasing annually and capped 30 days (Historically, the office also closes for 2 weeks at Christmas)
  • Employer pension contribution of 5% with salary sacrifice option
  • Annual discretionary bonus (May) based upon company profits and individual performance
  • Charitable Corporate support with 2 days going towards the same for each staff member
